So far in the play, we haven't seen much of MacBeth's personality, but what we have seen is him having conflicts. An obvious example of an external conflict is when MacBeth fights and defeates the invading army nearly single-handedly. His internal conflict is between his desire to be loyal to his king and his desire to be king himself.

ReplyDeleteThat is one beautiful crown. Effective identification of the obvious external conflict faced by Macbeth. The mentioned internal conflict is central to the play. I would like to hear more speculation, inspection, and illustration. You could develop this point a bit more. Since we are early in the play this is a good start. Keep up the good work.
