Macbeth, the protagonist, has not shown much of himself except through his actions. At first we see Macbeth as a brutal fighter who is noble and loyal to the king. As the wyrd sisters give Macbeth his prophecy of becoming king, a different side of him begins to show. Along with being noble it is expected that he has good morals and values. During his aside to the audience Macbeth's character begins to show a different side. As he contemplates killing Duncan to become king he shows that his morals may be corrupt. Although being percieved to his wife as not strong enough, we know that Macbeth's darker character will shine through as the play goes on.
