Characterization


We now see that Macbeth has just been made the king because he has killed Duncan. He then kills Banquo. During these two killings Macbeth has hallucinations of the floating dagger which leads him to kill Duncan. Then when everyone is at the meeting Macbeths sees Banquo with blood all over him. Macbeth is is confused and he is feeling the guilt of killing these two people. He is being haunted by Banquo because he killed him. But with his strength and power Macbeth has the courage to move on and try to continue to be king.
